NM House Speaker Lujan Endorses Kerry
SANTA FE, N.M. -- Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry has picked up the endorsement of a New Mexico legislative leader.

House Speaker Ben Lujan, of Santa Fe, endorsed Kerry for the nomination.

Kerry, a U.S. senator from Massachusetts, said he also has the backing of several city leaders in New Mexico: Albuquerque city councilors Michael Cadigan and Eric Griego and Espanola city councilor Joseph Maestas.

Kerry will campaign in New Mexico this weekend. He is scheduled for two events in Albuquerque on Saturday, speaking to a veterans group and at a labor union picnic. He will also attend fund-raisers in Santa Fe.

An endorsement by the House Speaker in an early primary state is probably a bigger the endorsement of Ghandi's grandson, IMHO.

1. Since I love both Kerry and Kucinich
I am pleased with ALL their endorsements, and particularly pleased with Gandhi's grandson, because, I've always thought Kucinich was a modern day Gandhi.
