1. I'm not a Californian but I think the new governor will be
the current governor and still Champ, Gray Davis.

3. I concur...
unless Feinstein runs. However, Riordan (if he runs) has a pretty good shot.

4. It damn well better be Davis!
Unless nitwits like Sanchez decide to make names for themselves.

11. Loretta Sanchez is not a nitwit
Look, in any normal election, the only way to win is to have your candidate have the most votes (unless your Bush, then you can find ways around it). Here, we Democrats have two. Gray Davis is not the best candidate we could find. However, he's a million times better than Issa or Simon. Terry McAullife putting all eggs in one basket when there's another basket ready to be filled is a bad idea. Tell people to vote no for the recall, but to also vote for Arianna Huffington. That way, if for some reason the Republicans do convince enough people to vote for a recall, the splits between Simon, Issa, Riordan, and any other Repuke will make way for Arianna to take the vote (and Arianna would also be a much better campaigner than Davis in the 2004 elections)

5. Same as the current one....
I'm not sure Riordan would win -- is is NOT pro-choice where as the state runs 2/3 pro-chocie. Davis beat him silly over the head with that during the GOP primary and knocked him out of the race.

6. Porn king
as least he's honest. Not Arnie, he wasn't born here anyway. Come on do we really need another lousy actor in the state capital? The former mayor of Los Angles, nope. I lived there then, and no, no, no he wanted to let Dream Works come in and build on the wetlands near Marina del Rey. That 26 year old gal has my vote if Davis can't stay. All in all, I'm not for the recall and Davis should stay in like we elected him. And Simon Legree? Hurl.

8. Davis has received a bad rap
California's economic problems were caused by the Wilson and Bush administrations and their energy policies. I don't care for Davis because of his stances on some issues I care a lot about. However, he had done the best job he could with California's economy.

9. Exactly.
I am unforgiving when it comes to his policies on public education; an issue I care a lot about, since I'm a teacher.

But that's not what they are going after him for, and I know where our economic problems came from. It wasn't Davis. I will be voting "No" on the bogus recall.

10. CA pugs will be in for more than they bargained for on this one!
When Larry Flint enters the race my prediction is that he is doing this to receive the press to expose Arnold's womanizing and the Issa guy's crimes whatever they were. Remember when Flint exposed the pugs in congress? They were frying Clinton and calling him a rapist, adulterer and, of course, when Flint shone the spotlight on their infidelities they came up with their - but when we do it it's only a youthful indiscretion or something stupid like that. I hope Flint exposes all these hypicrites for what they really are! They never learn!
