Grr. Argh. Good news we can't talk about...
Just wanting to vent slightly here.

Vince (aka Whitacre D_WI) has received at least two endorsements from important people. The problem is, we can't make a public announcement about said endorsements, because one is in a position of leadership in a county Democratic party chapter (and said endorser believes the chapter charter prohibits the leaders from publically endorsing when there's a primary, but she's checking), and the other is in a position of leadership in an organization that will eventually endorse and possibly help fund someone (so she can't go public yet either).

I do acknowledge that these are very good people to have on our side, and quiet help is also appreciated.

But is an endorsement really an endorsement if nobody's around to hear it?

Sorry. We now return to your regularly scheduled flame-fest.

1. Well, congratulations
A pity you can't say who it is, but it's still a positive sign.

2. Well
do said endorsers have any like minded friends in media or other positions? Endorsements are nice. Nicer would be, since they can't go public, is to get others who can to be temporary surrogates. A newspaper or two?

Also not quite kosher, but those who abide by the spirit of political rules don't know politics.
