LOTR making it's way into our political speak!

This and Cuaron's likening Voldemort et al to Bush (w/ Tony "Poodle" Blair as Cornelius Fudge) just makes my day.

And to think, a few scant years ago "LOTR" would baffle the masses.
I still remember the day way back when when I read they were going to do a live-action version-- If anyone wants to go down memory lane--go to www.theonering.net and look at their archives... (only for the truly geeky w/ time on the hands, as it goes back years now)

17. I support the DLC

The DLC is full of bright people that have dedicated their entire lives to the party. They have won more elections and had more votes cast for the Demcrats since FDR.

I love the Democratic Party. I am a Democrat. They backed Clinton and they will Back whoever the Democratic nominee is in 2004. I think we should work with them dispite their flaws.
