The best (and only) candidate who can win in 2004 is Gov. Tony Knowles.

Knowles can beat Murkowski. To put up an unknown in a state as heavily Republican as Alaska is would be incredibly stupid. Stick with Knowles. He was a popular two-term governor, and he'd make a great addition to our Senate Democratic Caucus.
