After you find a group and post a message/poll asking them to join us post the name of the group below so we can keep this kicked and our effort going. We can seriously make a difference doing this if everyone pitches in!

Robbins, Chatterjee, and Canda (1998) discuss to role of politics in increasing the disparity between social classes (i.e. supply side economics, blind welfare reform, etc.). Given the current Administrations propensity for regressive taxation, threats to civil liberties, and its apathy toward the 40 million uninsured, I would say that a call to action is more than appropriate. That being the case, it would be wise for social workers to get involved politically. It may be the best social work we can do.
