Nonviolent March, Rally and Action for Peace

Want to make the world safe for your children? We know just were to start. Weapons of Mass Destruction are one of the greatest threats to safety and security in the world today. Know who has the most? The United States does. Know who is building them now, today? The United States is. Know who is violatinig the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty in Oak Ridge, Tennessee? The United States is. And the rest of the world knows it. Unil we stop, no one else is going to.

Come to Y-12, the last full-scale nuclear weapons production plant in the United States and the birth place of the Little Boy Bomb that destroyed Hiroshima, Japan, to say "NO!" to the madness of the ongoing global arms race. Help us to remember, to hope, and to act in memory of those who suffered the horror of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, and to claim back the furture for generations yet to come. Gather at Bissell Park (Oak Ridge Turnpike), and then march through town over to Y-12 (Scarboro Road, between Bethel Valley and Illinios) for all day event to include music, speakers, food, children's activities and more.
