Save one woman's life for one dollar

I heard Jane Roberts speak tonight. When the Christian
Right leaned on George Bush to cut off Congressional funding
of $34 million to the United Nations Population Fund,
she and Lois Abraham decided to raise the money to replace it.
Their goal is for 34 million people to send one dollar each
so that the UNFPA can promote safe motherhood, provide family
planning and reproductive health services, prevent HIV/AIDS
and protect universal human rights for women.

Jane is a retired French teacher, delightful and is an example
again of one person making a difference.

Please donate to this great effort to really save
women's lives in poorer countries.

I'd already sent in mine (the $ from the carton of cigs I would have smoked after I quit smoking) but I need to send for my mom, my gran, both sisters and my soon to arrive niece.
