Below is the text of an email I received from America Coming Together, the consortium formed to unseat Bush in '04, funded in part by a $10 million contribution from George Soros. They are apparently gearing up their campaign.

Like you, we're not willing to stand by and watch the Bush
administration and their allies inflict their extremist policies
on our families for another four years. And judging by the
response we're getting and the latest poll numbers, millions of
Americans agree. Now we are joining together to say NO and ACT
for change.

Too many Americans who are eligible to vote don't. They've given
up on politicians and elections. They're disengaged,
ill-informed, and unregistered.

These are the very people George W. Bush is counting on for
their silence, their frustration, their fear. That's the only
way Bush Republicans can perpetuate their ill-gained and
ill-conceived policy agenda. Think about what we could do if
everyone you knew who complained about politics got involved
instead, making a difference and rebuilding politics to reflect
our values. We can change the course Bush has set the country on
-- but first we need to create energy and enthusiasm among
voters!

That's what ACT is all about. Thanks to your early support,
ACT is already organizing in key presidential states, starting a
massive effort to reach out, inform, and mobilize millions of
voters.

Face-to-face, around kitchen tables and in living rooms across
America, we'll discuss the issues affecting peoples' lives and
expose the Republican record of failure. Online, we will build
communities of like-minded people who will band together to
reach out to voters who have turned their backs on the system.
We will register these voters and get them to the polls to elect
progressive candidates up and down the ballot.

But we will need thousands of volunteers and the resources to
support them. That is why it is so critical that you reach out
to your friends and family, and get them involved. Ask the

too.
