I still support doing a follow up to the G8/Live 8 thing on immiseration

Absolute poverty is one of the most broadly agreed on progressive concerns (that it must be ended and pursued POLITICALLY) and this was a special moment in history.

I can't stand Roberts and signed all those petitions -- but unless they find an Anita Hill popping up somewhere, he's in baby (ICK).
But here's something that might actually impact politics some, by speaking on and sparking continuing concern about an issue of such importance. (I admit, little of what we do is yet earthshaking, and I have no illusions about that .... but still we should MAXIMIZE our impact!)

2. I wish I knew the answer to that... I've wondered the same thing.
