Gays Should Strike 01/20/05
On Inaguaration Day, homosexuals should take part in an unofficial strike. To protest the re-installment of an administration that would deny them the rights of citizenship all gay people should call out sick.

Think of the impact this would have, especially in Washington DC, site on numerous Inaguration Festivities and Events when all the gay hotel/banquet employees do not show up for work. Not to mention any impact on transportation, etc.

Come on, guys, gals, what do you think?

4. Not A Bad Idea
Gay Allies could stay home in sympathy protest. The idea is really to show how much homosexuals contribute to our society, and yet, the Republicans would dismiss them as some how worth less than a heterosexual. Well, maybe these bigoted hypocrites can think about that when they're sitting in a bar near Dupont Circle waiting forever for a drink.

sorry if that sounds like condescending liberalism or sterotyping.

3. Demonstrations in every city and town across America!
Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants of the pretender to the throne? Why can't we have it be a combo demonstration? Stop and War and Stop the Discrimination!

Everyone can wear black. Easy wardrobe choice. We all have black in our closets. We have time to get it organized and it would be a great release for all our frustrations with this administrations.

5. I like this idea
I've been wanting to do this for a long time.

Also, I think we should all get together at our State Capitals and burn our tax returns. No taxation without representation. What do you think, folks?
