9. Opening skit was CLASSIC and BRILLIANT.
Everything since has sucked (I'm half an hour into it so far).
But damn, that Condi/Cheney skit was just tooooo good.

That was Tina Fey's purported title for the fictional August 20th daily brief, during the Weekend Update segment. :+

The August 26th daily brief was titled "Mr. President, Please Put Down the Game Boy. Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside United States."

I also loved the opening segment, where Cheney/Hammond instructed Condi/Janet to start coughing as soon as she revealed the title of the August 6th briefing, to cover up the gasps from the commission gallery.

For my money, that was the best SNL this season. And the funniest skit I've seen in years involved the soaking of corks.

"Sometimes, I even soak two corks at the same time!"
