I got the worst phone call this morning, as my day was beginning, by son was killed.

We are loading up the car to drive back to Salt Lake City now. This time last month we were there for my oldest son's wedding and now going back for my youngest's funeral.

We are all in shock. He was walking home from a 7-11 grocery trip. The driver didn't see him in the crosswalk because it was dark and Geoff was wearing dark clothing, had his Ipod in his ears and it appears he crossed against the light.

He will be missed by many friends, family and a new girlfriend.
