4. Yes, definitely gives a dark side to any day. I keep remembering the H. G. Wells quote. Sad if true.

I prefer the McKenna version of this place in history, and the David Korten methodology for creating a new society over the David Koch plan, obviously. And it's only going to get more tumultuous, and more clarifications in our priorities will have to occur in the coming decades.

The worst part of the oppression and violence is that we have millions of completely brainwashed, desensitized and well-rewarded people, *fellow citizens*, willing to kill those who offer enlightenment.

It has always been so, but now we see it more clearly and on a larger scale. What will tip the balance, I don't know. In the meantime, we must live and love as best we can.
