Watching an old Japanese Monster Movie...
Why are all the construction workers wearing army helmets? Is it one of those tings like the army soldiers wearing white gloves?

1. Two guesses
One: I suppose it's possible that when Japan was being rebuilt, we sent over a bunch or surplus army helmets to be used as construction helmets.

Two: The studio didn't have hard hats, but they had army helmets. Who will notice the difference, really?

Which monster movie?
