Ghost Photography

I was scanning some old photos for a client when I came across this interesting shot. I estimate it is from the early '50s. Note the tie in each of the two shots.



Okay, now for the rest of it- the one on the left is actually a double exposure featuring a man, and his son is the second exposure. It really does not explain the vivid face in the tie- the half-visible son is to the right of his shoulder, well away from the location of his tie. You can see the son's ear, and that's his elbow at the bottom of the tie. Note the pic on the right, which is a separate clear, single exposure of Dad. You can also see the arm and ear of the boy.

Anyone else have any interesting ghost photo pics on hand, easily explainable or not?
