Today's College Football Thread
Three games today between ranked teams:

Auburn (20) at LSU (1)
Wisconsin (6) at Michigan State (16)
Washington (25) at Stanford (8)

My Sooners host Texas Tech tonight. Illinois plays at Purdue.

So who does your team play? What games are you looking forward to?

1. Ole Miss 17 -- Arkansas 0 in the second quarter
That's quite a surprise -- Ole Miss lost to Vanderbilt this year.

4. Arizona State
Edited on Sat Oct-22-11 02:01 PM by JonLP24
I'm pretty sure they have a bye. I wish it was like last year where I made time to watch college football and pro football games except for the Cardinals, I only watched 1 Sun Devils game because they're all on cable. :hi:

It's been a good year for Arizona State. Sorry you haven't been able to see many of the games, though. Hopefully some of the upcoming games will be over the air. :hi:

7. I've said it before but I'll say it again: Geaux Tigers!
A bit nervous with the suspensions, but the offense looked solid on the first drive - lets see how the defense holds up...

8. Thank goodness the Hawkeyes knocked off Indiana
It was looking a bit shaky at the start.
But I gotta laugh at Illinois - off to their usual great Big 10 start! 0-2

21. I wonder when CU will get their first Pac 12 win
Neither Utah or Colorado has won a game in the new conference. They play each other the last week of the season--I guess one of the them will have to win :)

Congrats to the Ducks :toast:

25. That was wild
Definitely the right call on the replay. Can't remember seeing a final play like that since Kordell Stewart beat Michigan in '94.

24. Anyone see the end of the Michigan State - Wisconsin game?
Looked like it was headed into overtime, but Michigan State wins on a last-play Hail Mary. It was deflected by a Wisconsin defender in the end zone and caught by MSU's Keith Nichol just outside the goal line. Officials ruled that he was down, but they reviewed it and the replay booth called it (correctly) a touchdown.

29. It'll still be a great game in Stillwater come December
Good chance that the Big 12 title will go to the winner and a possible NCG berth for OSU on the line. It'll be one of the bigger bedlam games in a while :)

30. Trouble indeed
Worst defensive performance at home since '96.

Congrats to the Pokes--it's been a great season so far. Bedlam will still probably be (unless OU lays another egg) for the conference title. (And, of course, a shot at the MNC for OSU most likely.)

31. We finally have a football program at OSU
That can produce a team thats a contender for the national title, took em long enough. The only problem we have is Mike Gundy will start playing way too conservative when he should be taking the big risks and pulling out all the stops. I hope he pays close attention to the way Texas Tech beat OU tonight. They played like they had nothing to lode and it paid off.
