Name your favourite park. I like Banff National Park, specifically Lake Louise. I had
a summer job there on top of a mountain by a waterfall. It was wonderful. And thankfully, since Banff is one of the oldest national parks in the world, there is hardly any development there so it is still pretty much pristine. Glacial flour (glaciers rubbing against rock) gives many of the lakes there the pastel blue colour that is so famous.

18. I love the Smokies!...
We go there every few years. We were very lucky the first year we went, saw a momma bear and her two cubs in their natural environment. Got some great pictures. Going there one of my favorite vacations.

32. One year when I was there with my sister and her husband,
we were driving through the park and saw a baby bear at the side of the road. That was an interesting encounter. My dumb brother-in-law wanted to get out of the car to get a closer photo of it until I started screaming that the mama bear is probably around.

We went up there in the spring. It was heavily overcast most of the time we were there but we still enjoy looking at the pictures.

I've never been to Maine but now I want to go. Those shots remind me on the Pacific Northwest (which I adore).
