Poached some cod in whisky sour (3/4 cup). Red onions and butter too. It was really, really good.

A whisky sour is 1/2 fresh lemon juice, 1/2 whiskey and sugar to taste. What did you have for dinner?

1. I was really, really good once. It wasn't much fun, so I decided to try something else.

5. Not tonight but
my new favorite cod dish is:

saute sweet onion (walla walla, hermiston etc) and slices of red pepper
when it is almost done place the cod filets on top, refuce heat to medium.
dice up some grey squah (also called Mexican squash)and place around the fish.
Cover and simmer until fish is done and the squash is soft.
Season with a bit of soy sauce.

It makes a sweet broth.

Serve over jasmine rice.

Have served it to friends and they liked it too!

6. Bourbon and cod?
Do you drink it or eat it?

I'm confused.
