11. You must have been there much longer than I was

I just had a three-day stopover on the way back from Norway, did the Golden Circle, the South Coast tour to the glacial lake, and the Blue Lagoon on the way to the airport.

However, Icelandair flies nonstop from Minneapolis in the summer, so I'll do another stopover on my next trip to Europe and see some more.

We were there 10 days, and sailed around the whole island...

I felt that we got a really good, in-depth look at the place...

I was tired a lot of the time, due to the extreme cold and the wind really went right through me.

Still, it was a fabulous trip!
