. . . cause so many of you all have helped me through some sad personal times in the past.

I've met a guy who's put a smile on my face and I can't stop smiling, he makes me so happy. He's so much of what I've always wanted - funny, heroic, sensitive, caring, smart, intuitive, giving. It's early days yet, but things are going so well, and I'm really happy for the first time in so long. I just wanted to say. The Lounge has been there for me through some rough personal times in the past, and now I want to share some potential good times.

I'm just -- happy. :)

15. Ya know, it's so funny

I was watching the first night when Stephen Colbert started televising the names of people who'd donated, and I was so disappointed that my name didn't come up. I had no hope on the second night, but then, there my name was!! I was so shocked, and my kid was too, I laughed and danced around the room - the cats were very surprised. Now - 2 weeks later, I think, he's still scrolling names across the screen! LOL

This is why I love love love DU!!

It's here for good times and bad.

Everyone here has been so kind to me even when I've made some mistakes in judgment, and have given me such good advice, and I appreciate the private words that have been sent also. You guys rock, you've made long sad days bearable. I hope one day to pass those blessings on.
