2. That's pretty funny

One time my wife swiped the hand lotions from a room. We suddenly had a $17 charge on our bill. The bottles were a decent size, so maybe they didn't want them taken. :silly:

5. dish washing liquid - Dawn specifically
I use Dawn for most anything where liquid soap is called for. Including bath and shower.

8. I also use liquid "dish" soap as hand soap ...
... but I use one of the "natural" brands. The name brands have fragrances that are too strong for me.

12. As much as possible I use the same bar soap that I use for bathing
Since anything else messes up my skin. I've been using what is now Basic bar soap made by Dial. It used to be Pure & Natural, but Dial bought the company to get the name brand. For a very short time they sold a competitor to Herbal Essence under that brand but it was apparently not smelly enough to compete. Since Dial began selling the same soap under their new name for it, it has been harder to find, but I've managed to track it down. There is another brand I can use, Basic, but it costs more ($2.50 per bar as opposed to 3 bars for $1-1.50).

Any other soap or detergent causes me problems. Ivory gives me hives. Most brands have fragrances in them I react to with sneezing or intense headaches. Aside from the fragrance problem most soaps and detergents cause skin rashes or irritation. Hubby thought a "green" brand would be good since it was "all natural" - I might as well have been rinsing my hands in acid - after a week of using that stuff, the skin on my hands was red, dry, peeling, cracking and bleeding and HURT. Bathing with many soaps and detergents causes that reaction all over my body, worse in areas of sensitive skin.

Washing my hands in public restrooms is problematic. Many ladies rooms seem to think we all want to smell like stinky perfume. Some still use that nasty pick crap that stinks even worse. If I wash with either of those choices, I cannot get my hands near my face or I will react to the fragrances. If I am traveling, I try to carry a bar of soap in a ziplock in my purse since days of washing with the products provided will mess up my skin. But it is a nuisance to do that!
