9. I've lost a piece of furniture with each dog I've had -
one German Shepherd ate the fringe off of my mom's 10 x 20 Kermin oriental rug; another ate part of a couch. One of my Whippets destroyed the most comfortable arm chair I've every owned. Our other Whippet took it upon himself to chew holes in one piece of every sheet set I had for our bed, leaving me with mismatched sheets, not to mention picking a fight with my down pillow. Our Greyhound bitch chewed a hole in the drywall next to the door. Johnny however looks so cute. I love his big grin.
