Poll question: Vegetarians, do you eat milk and cheese products?
I know better to ask the vegans.

1. Cheese products primarily.
Milk products upset my stomach too much, so it's soy/rice/almond/coconut milks and similar "dairy" products made from them (Tofutti brand for "cream cheese" and "sour cream".)

While I will order pizza, I tend not to buy cheese at the store, other than the rare occasion when I'd like some feta with my kalamata olives, olive oil and bread :9

2. Vegetarians eat milk and cheese.
Vegans do not. I am a vegetarian and do eat dairy products. In my reasoning, at least the chicken did not have to be killed for the eggs nor did the cow for the milk products.

4. I am sure you are aware
that most hamburger comes from used up dairy cows...and have you ever wondered what happens to the 50% of dairy cows that happen to be male?
For the record, I am not a vegetarian, but have been. Just trying to keep it real.

6. um -
you might want to fact check that.

Hamburger comes from "meat" cows - male and female.

There aren't any male "dairy cows" - though there are some bulls for the purpose of procreation. Males that are born never make it to "cowhood" they're slaughtered in their infancy (after being forced to live their short pathetic life in a cage barely big enough to turnaround in) to become VEAL = not hamburger.

For the record, I AM a vegetarian.

7. male dairy calves are also raised for beef
and generally they are castrated and called steers, veal is not the only use for bull calves
