11. A Game of Thrones
started reading it after watching the first few episodes of the HBO series.

It is a fantastic book, the first fiction I've read in a very long time, it's not usually my genre.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao which is good thus far, though Junot Diaz isn't the best writer I've read lately. I needed a break from reading Roberto Bolano. I pretty much only read fiction at thus point; I'm preparing to apply to earn a doctorate in contemporary lit. So, my life consists of reading, learning Spanish, having failed relationships and working.
