How come Budweiser sucks so badly compared to MGD?

Busch is supposed to be equal to High Life, hence them both being the same price for 30 packs.

MGD costs maybe a buck fifty more than Budweiser, but Jesus at 8.99 per 12 of Bud vs 6.99 high life sign me up for that cheaper high life.

Yes, I am a beer snob.

My oldest son works at a craft brewery/restaurant and also brews his own beers, ales, stouts and porters, and my second oldest works at a brew pub that makes forty or so craft brews of all types on premises.


I get it all...for free.

2. It is even weirder with NA beers. The more expensive, the worse it is.

O'Douls, the stuff Guinness makes, etc. - all fruity and not at all "beer-like". Curiously, Old Millwater makes one of the most "beer-like" ones out there (even though the regular Old Millwater sucks moose cock). Busch NA isn't terrible and probably the best out there, if you can find it, is American - also the least expensive.

As for regular beer, I've had some pretty pricey stuff that was just not good beer. And MGD is weird. I'll drink it on tap but really don't like it out of a bottle or can and I can't stand regular Miller piss water. Budweiser has always sucked in all delivery forms as far as I'm concerned - and I started drinking beer in '79.
