Best Song by a band you REALLY didn't like?
I vote for a tune that Madonna came out with a few years ago that I can't remember the name of. Yes. That's the one! (I'll look it up and update if possible)

1. Sanford Townsend Band, "Smoke from a Distant Fire." Great freakin'
tune from a band otherwise never heard from, and I don't think I would have liked them if they were *lol* but I loved that song.

2. Paint It Black
Rolling Stones. I really, really don't like that band, but I will crank up the volume for that song.

3. "Semi-Charmed life" by Third Eye Blind.
Love the song, hate the band. This was the first song I ever heard of theirs, so my initial impression was good because I thought the song was kind of catchy. Then they released more singles and that just ruined it for me. Because all the rest of the songs I heard from them sucked.

6. Peter Gabriel's great!
I think you should spend your next two paychecks on everything he ever recorded, then get back to me!

8. LOL. I probably should.
But I've had this deep loathing for anyone and anything Genesis ever since I Can't Dance.

7. Who's Lovin' You - The Jackson Five

I'm not a Jackson Five fan, but the ballad flip of "I Want You Back" is pretty nice, particularly coming from an 11-year-old lead!

10. Kickstart My Heart (Motley Crue)
I'd pretty much turned hating Motely Crue into an art form. It was such a shock I actually called the radio station in hopes of being told it was a band that just sounded like them!
