2. Since you took the time to post, I'll explain

I tried to update this difficult clock, which I have just let alone for its (to me) complexity. And the corrections wouldn't "take." And the manual assumed more sophistication than is mine. And all it said was to program-in the Time Zone code/number without providing a map/table of numbers. So I had to Google to find a number and it was -5 (minus 5) for Eastern. I had NO idea about any of this crap.

Just thought somebody out there might need the info *I* needed.
