1. Haven't heard him in a long time.
I was somewhat obsessed many years ago.

Rock on Chicago!

3. I used AT LEAST his "Rock 'n Roll Mcdonalds" for one of my food-themed shows...

...and I did a little research on him.
.
.
.
I was saddened to learn now that he died at the age of 40 in 2003 of complications
from a chronic leukemia.
.
.
.
A chronic paranoid schizophrenic, he called his psychotic episodes "hellrides" and
he referred to rock-and-roll music as "joyrides".
.
.
.
From Wikipedia:
.
Rock critic and Okkervil River frontman Will Sheff wrote that Willis' "{P}eriodic
appearances for crowds of jeering white fratboys evoke an uncomfortable combination
of minstrel act and traveling freak show." <9> Conversely, guitarist Scott Anthony,
who toured with Willis in 1998, said "It's not frat boys coming to his shows and
making fun of him:; it's punk rock kids who appreciate that he sings stuff people
are thinking."

I certainly like to think it was more, if not mostly, if not ALWAYS... the latter.
