An update on my Mom...
My Dad died last August, so us kids are helping her out a LOT.

Best news, she sold the Florida house, and broke even.
I know a profit would have been nice, but the housing market down in Florida sucks.
Even mansions are losing money when they are sold. IF they get sold.

This winter she's living with my oldest sister and her husband.
She couldn't handle the snow and cold in northern WI, in winter.

This summer, I'll be visiting again for a week, so we can get some work done, and fishing.
I love fishing up there, panfish make good eatin'! :-)

My Mom had an automatic starter installed in her minivan, I bought it for her.
Especially on cold mornings she likes having the van running and the interior warming up by the time she gets out to it.

My Mom loves having me around, we like going to the library once in a while.

So my Mom is adjusting, the way her Mom adjusted and lived for a few decades after Grandpa died.

4. All my sisters.
All four of my sisters, their husbands and kids, and their kids.
(Yes, my Mom has great-grandkids too!) :-)

We all pitch in.

2. Good for you, my dear Archae!
Your Mom is a very lucky woman, having you help her like this. And your sister too.

I hope she lives many more years, all of them happy ones!

5. Thanks Peggy.
We're all trying to make life easier for her.

Like I said, she's adjusting.
Sleeping alone is the hardest thing.

It's a hard time for everyone, I'm sure, but you will always treasure these times with her. It's great that she enjoys her time with you so much.

Peace and strength to you. I hope you have lots more fun times with Mom.
