Oh man, the Girl Scouts are really in trouble!
Picked up a package of these today; they are Samoas! Now I don't have to wait until the fundraiser to get my fix (or pay $5.00 for six cookies :P).

4. But but but...
If you don't pay the five bucks, are you sure you can outrun the diminutive but motivated angry green mob outside your local supermarket/Walgreens/etc? A quarter of the 5 bucks is for the cookies, the rest is for protection. Them elves ain't no match for the Girl Scouts.

6. The GSIAA (Girl Scout Industries Association of America) lawyers are all over it.
The Girl Scouts will OWN the Keebler hollow tree when all is said and done.

7. I think I found just the thing to break my addiction
To 100 grand candy bars that has been plaguing me since Halloween!

I'm one of those indulge your cravings until you get sick of them type of people. Two years ago it was Oreo cookies (hadn't had one in about 10 years) and they tasted great for almost 6mos.

100 grand candy bars have been by fix this fall. Truth be told I don't really love them but that doesn't stop me from hunting them down every other day. (Not many stores carry them--I don't think I had had one since they were called 100,000 dollar bar)

Now Coconut Dreams! Can't wait to try them and get obsessed with eating them whether I like them or not. :)

12. Good for you---finding a substitute so you can have them all year.
Now, find Thin Mints for me!

I hate buying GS cookies. The kids (or their parents these days) do all the work, and the troop only gets 10-15% of the proceeds from the sale ($.35 to $.50 per box). I think it is a sin.

13. Go to the Dollar General stores.
They have a cookie called mint thins. They are the same as the Girl Scout cookies. They aren't as expensive, either.
