Am I The Only One.... (Fast Subtitles)

Okay....I'm 58 years old, have my Masters, a very good reader....

How come I can hardly finish reading a subtitle before it is gone? Have they sped up over the years?

Is anyone else having a similar problem???

1. I've only seen that once

It was unbelievably fast, and I'm a fast reader. I had to turn it off after just minutes, it was that annoying. I mean, those subtitles literally flashed for less than a second! Like a speed-reading drill.

2. I have considered that it is possible that subliminals are in play.

However that does not explain many other things.

It could be argued that, for instance, what I post is about subliminal or something like that, and that would be there answer for it not being supernatural.

However they can not make that argument when I am reading a book at the park, and can do the same thing there.

3. It's the dialog that's faster. The subtitles are just keeping up.

4. This is why we usually don't go to the theater for foreign films

We stream it or watch the DVD, then pause or rewind when needed. It isn't just you.
