Request for help - Save a Sato/Animal Rescue Shelter Challenge
Hi - As many of you know, I am the proud guardian of a rescued Sato dog from Puerto Rico. Save a Sato is the volunteer group that managed to save her and send her to the mainland for adoption.

Currently the Animal Rescue site is running a "Shelter Challenge" in which one can vote for their favorite charity to win one of three prizes (3rd place = $2,000, 2nd place = $3,000 and 1st place = $10,000!) Save a Sato has been toggling between 2nd and 3rd place for a couple of weeks now but only 1/2 of a percent separates 3rd place from 1st with only 2 days left for voting.

Would you please consider voting for them over the next two days (on any internet-connected device you own or have access to!) to help them make it to first place? The contest ends on 12/19 and they could do so much good for these poor island dogs with that much money.

Thanks for your time. Here's some info on how to vote:

http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/shelterchallenge.faces?siteId=3

"Visit the contest website by clicking the above link, search for Save A Sato in the country United States and in the State PR (Puerto Rico) and hit the vote button, then follow the instructions to confirm the vote."

Bella and I thank you for your consideration:

I dont see Save a Sato in the top ten at all.

I was trying to make sure I typed in Save a Sato correctly.

on edit: I found it. It didnt show the top ten international foundations until after I voted.

2. Sorry - they're in the "International Category"

Honestly, you shouldn't even have to type in the name. If you select "PR" in the state drop down list, and keep the country as "United States", when you click search, you should get a list of 13 organizations in PR. "Save a Sato Foundation" should be the 10th one down.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this.

ETA: just saw your edit. Thanks again for sticking with it.

If you don't know much about Save a Sato, their web site is worth a look: http://www.saveasato.org/ They are all volunteer and you can't imagine how far $10,000 would go in this shelter. Thank you again.

12. That was so much nicer than having to type in and decipher some twisted up numberletter jumble
"Is that an O or a 0? Is that a twisted V or a twisted 7? Is that a squared off S or a curvey 5?

HATE those things

13. I thought the same thing!
It was like a little gift, not an irritating IDing method. And my fox was just so sweet. I think we can vote once a day, so I am going back tomorrow, I will remember to copy him this time.

10. Done. Friends of mine have a second home in Culebra.
They adopted a Sato and she lived a long pampered life.
