Mari is in my prayers

I will be gone for most of the day but cried this morning watching the news about what is going on in Iraq. I justed wanted Mari to know that I was thinking about her son and his fellow soldiers and that my thoughts and prayers were with her and her son. God Bless you, I don't how you are doing it but there are lots of people praying for you and you are definetly not alone even though most of us are not anywhere near what your horrible situation must be. No words can comfort a person who has this to worry about but I hope you find comfort in the fact that so many of us are with you in thought and spirit.

As a parent who loves his children deeply, I hope your son and all others are all right Mari. Never met you and don't expect to, but thoughts and prayers are with him and all others over there in that illegal occupation. Edited- I can't type worth doodly squat.

3. My nephew's last day in Baghdad is April 2

I have not really shared his experiences on DU (other than his presidential photo op on Thanksgiving) but this is his last week and I am most nervous about him getting out ok.
