So the doctor cancels my husband's appointment today....
just 45 minutes before he was scheduled. After it took over a week to get in.

Don't know why I should be surprised.

:-(

1. I think his next appointment should be free
My doctor requires 24 hours notice for cancelations, otherwise I get charged $30.

2. Well, he just sent me a text...
Apparently (it is a woman physician), she is pregnant and was just put on bed rest. Now I feel guilty for getting upset about it. They don't know when my husband will be able to get in to see another doctor in that group... we'll see.

Oh, btw, that place also required a 24-hour notice to cancel (for the patients, that is).

3. I can certainly understand her need to cancel, but...
She should be held to the same cancellation penalty (if any) that apply to her patients. What's fair is fair.

4. My dentist requires 48 hours notice to cancel.
Due to illness, he's canceled twice on me with less than 24 hours notice. I told him that he owe's me.
