2. As if Vince Lombardi himself could win with this bunch
Easier to fire one coach than 53 players.

6. I think the opposite. I think anyone but Garrett and Phillips could win with this team.
They need a lineman and a corner back or two, and they need to cut Roy Williams, but other than that, when Romo isn't injured, they have the players.

7. I think the distance between 45-7 and winning is more than a couple of players
My Afterlife sources have informed me that Lombardi is currently serving time in a very unpleasant part of Purgatory. He was offered the chance to shave a couple hundred years off his time by coming back to Earth and coaching the Cowboys, and declined.

8. If that's what they'd done all season, but it's not.
The last three games have been awful. With Romo down, they are using a rent-a-back to run their offense. Kitna isn't playing badly, but he's got no speed on his pass and he doesn't have the ability to scramble to buy time like Romo does. He has to rely on the play calling, and it's not happening. Because of that, the defense can bunch up on the line and shut down the run game, especially considering the weak OL. So the Cowboys are three and out almost every drive, except when they fumble, and the other team's offense has all the time in the world on offense.

But before Romo went down the Cowboys were gaining more yards than their opponents, making every game close, and shutting the other team's offense down most of the time. They were losing because they couldn't score, because once they got around the twenty, Garrett couldn't call plays to get into the end zone. Inside the twenty, you have to call plays that fool the other team. Deeper on the field, you can just outrun or out-muscle someone because the defense has to cover the whole field. In close, the defenders are bunched up, so you have to make one of them move left so you can throw it right. The Cowboys' scheme doesn't do that. Any time you see a team that outgains opponents but can't score, it's coaching.

Put a good offensive coordinator on that team, and the talent they have will win a lot of games. To go to the Super Bowl, they need a better OL and some corners. But their biggest problem now is the offensive coordinator--he naturally just got named head coach.
