2. I don't care, really...
...as long as Keanu Reeves doesn't make the list. I think Patrick Stewart is too old to play Dr. Morbius. Morbius should be fifty-ish at most, not seventy. Recall he has a hot babe for a daughter. Also, the original cast was all lily-white; I'd like to see a little more diversity the next time around.

Forbidden Planet is my very favorite movie; I doubt the remake will make me happy.

3. OMG, I didn't realize Ken Nordine was still alive!
I mentioned his name just the other day in a meeting (we were listening to some jazzy hold music and ads online while a webinar was getting started) and got a roomful of blank stares.

8. It would be nice if they did. Seriously, I can't look at Leslie Neilson now
without laughing. Ruins the whole film. I keep expecting him to yell "STRIKE ONE!!" or something.

9. However, the script is being written by one of the movie's biggest fans:
J. Michael Straczynski :D

In fact, as I recall, he had one script written and then some insider asshole leaked it to the Internet, so he told everyone off that had then passed it around and said he was rewriting it, causing him to have lost an entire year of creative work because someone just couldn't wait.

7. Not many men are as beautiful as Leslie Nielsen was in that role.
Couldn't decide who was more beautiful Leslie Nielsen or Anne Francis
