or so few levels.

I cry my heart out every time I watch "White Palace"...now, I've never been an alcoholic, I've never lost a spouse
I've never experienced bigotry based on religion or social class...but, I have lost a child and maybe that is the trigger.

It is not an exceptionally well made move or even super well acted...but I get it and I suppose many others did too.

I say cry, that's what evolution put the tear ducts there for...goes along with the bigger brain.

3. Actually I think Ryan Gosling is a talented actor.
I loved him in "Lars and the Real Girl" along with "Half-Nelson".

He's actually not really good playing a normal person. I mean he's good to look at but his personality just doesn't fit normal people roles. Probably why he's received so many awards for the above 2 movies I've mentioned. He's better playing a flake.

6. If the story wasn't about how an old man...

...played by James Gardner explaining their life to his lovely wife stricken by Alzheimer's, it would have just been another sappy period love story. God I loved that movie. I have a thing for James Gardner, though. If you are ever looking for a cute, silly movie, find Move Over, Darling with him and Doris Day from way back in the day. James Gardner was HOT. And he was so great as Old Shep in Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood.

9. I enjoyed that one
What was you opinion of "A Walk to Remember"? I read the book before I saw the movie, the book was better. Maybe because I have always had the notion that the ending was different. I also thought Nicholas Sparks characters were more sympathetic in the books.
