So, what's for dinner?

1. I had a ham and cheese sammie.

3. It'll be sauteed chicken with black beans and rice and yellow corn, all together.

Spiced up with curry and cayenne, black pepper and garlic.

Possibly with red, green and yellow peppers and mushrooms too.

That's always an optional add-on.

The sauteeing is done with extra virgin olive oil, and a generous splash of Icehouse Beer.

The beer, incidentally, is also used for drinking.

7. A dinner that good needs beer...

...or is it the other way around?

8. Ha! Yes the spiciness of the dinner certainly needs the cool-down of a beer.

And the beer definitely needs the compliment of the meal.

We just agreed on linguine with marinara sauce, broccoli, salad and garlic bread.

Been in the crock pot since about 12:30
It's ready but I'm not hungry yet

10. We had hamburgers with old cheddar cheese, tomatoes and onions on italian hamburger buns.

Was good.
