2. I'd say a whole mine full of trouble!
Because the Thing absorbs what it 'eats' and transforms it into more of itself. How many carrot-handed things would be oozing out of that tunnel now? }(

8. You should keep your sexual fantasies to yourself.
While the thought of the Thing bare backing all those unwashed miners without their consent might be a turn on for some, it does nothing for me.
