Why can't I have a pet Red Panda?

They are only slightly larger than a house cat. I think I would be able to give a red panda lots of love!

4. So, my cat Evita is plotting my death as I sleep too
I've surved with her for 8 years I think I can survive with a Red Panda.

3. Ummm...because keeping endangered species for pets is illegal?
They ARE pretty damned cute, though! But, from what I understand, their disposition doesn't completely match their cuteness.

5. Then they should have given them an ugly face, like a crocodile
no one wants a pet crocodile

12. The tame Russian foxes?
A fox would be a cool pet, if it didn't chew your hand off.

15. They seem past "tame" and into genuinely "domesticated"
The change in their population since Belyaev started the experiment is astounding.

8. Two reasons: 1) life is horribly horribly unfair, and 2) the illuminati hate red pandas,
and have decreed that they should be denied your lots of love. Maybe that's just one reason...

10. Have you seen that show on Animal Planet
called "Obsessions" (I think). That's why. It will kill you & eat you. Cute can be misleading.

14. Oh right. Who's gonna feed him, clean up after him, take him for walks
(or whatever they do). It's always this way with you kids when you get tired of the old pets!
