I'm thinking about adopting this little fella

He's about 3 months old and was rescued from a commercial puppy mill. He just had his dew claws removed, thus the wraps on his legs. They call him Spot. I think he looks like ..... Max.

They check references and my vet gave me a good one. Still have to pass a home visit.

So, waddya think?

My only concern would be if he's from a mill and the possibility of careless breeding - do they have any congenital problems that might have been inherited? I have no idea.

35. dood! They still have to approve of ME to adopt him!!

They still have to have a home visit with me to make sure I'm a suitable owner. (No problem - I have a big crawlspace to move the bodies I've been hiding.) Still no word today, but they wanted to wait until his bandages were off.

41. UPDATE! I'M GETTING THE PUPPY NEXT FRIDAY!!!!!!

He just came for a visit that went well. He needs a bit more vet care and stitches out then I can adopt him next Friday. He is such a cute little bugger at 6 1/2 pounds! Squeeeeee!

Nothing to do with Mad Max mind you, but Max Cavalera....I thought Sepultura ruled back in the day. I don't like Soulfly as much, but Max still makes a great pet name. :)
