Plato, to be exact. He just jumped on my desk, and now that I've accidentally made eye contact, he's going to stare at me, sneak closer and closer, not let me touch him, put his paw on my mouse hand (which constitutes *him* touching *me*, which is OK), and generally be *there*.

It's an hour 'til the nightcap feeding. I'm screwn.

1. Sounds like our cat, Bunny.

First, she is an absolute fruit fiend. Sit down with a peach, plum, watermelon, strawberry, etc. and she walks up, sits down very seriously and puts that "Paw of Incredible Significance I'm Telling You Something Here Buster" paw on your arm. Make eye contact and you're a goner.

Nice to have a place to post little stuff like that and have another cat person answer, ain't it? Ahhh, the internets.

2. LOL, so typical of those pesky cats. I find that if I just do some

loving on the cat, they decide to leave me alone for a while. NO LOVING without MY approval, says the cat!

He has, in the past, rubbed his mouth against my hand, so that I can feel his gums and teeth.
Not a big deal, I've had plenty of cats do this.

7. Plato will walk right up to me and

try to smell what I had to eat. He'll sit about an inch away. I blow very gently on his nose so he can get a sample for analysis, then he gives me a head butt and leaves.

He's very smart, but also very weird. :P

10. My cat does that!

I call it *fanging*. Hehehe... my Shelby has lovely long incisors so they always drag across my skin when he does it. I call him Fang the bowlegged wonder.
