I have determined that I am too stupid to post on DU.
May the road rise up to the sun to meet your house in warmth and shade, and may the swan bark gently into that good night.

Goodbye.

I have a good friend in real life who is also a DUer. I have known this person for years. This person is friends with literally ALL is the disgruntled DUers who have left for facebook.

This person has a deep grudge against some for reasons I will not share here.

Also, most people would believe that this person hates my guts by all appearances.

So, when I get poems and nasty shit written about me, or any other items of interest, I get screen shots.

The internet...be careful out there. :D

34. When I worked for a Government contractor,
I worked on proposals for our people to design, build, install and maintain certain devices at locations all over the world.

Depending on where a device was going to be installed, I would sometimes have to bid hazardous duty pay as a percentage on top of the individual's normal labor rate.

If I remember correctly, the premium ranged from 15% to 50%, depending on the location.

One time I was working late, and our office got a frantic phone call from somewhere overseas (I forget the country). A group of our installers was caught selling drugs in that country, and they were ready to murder them as punishment.

We had to work with our Government to send negotiators over there to get them home safely, and they were promptly fired and prosecuted here.

Sheet and plate aluminum is sold in 4' x 8' sheets.
We usually cut them in half for storage.
So I needed to cut two circles from one half sheet.

86. Benny....
Believe or not (with my memory being so poor), I remember a post that you did years ago where you posted a screen shot of you in the Grateful Dead Movie.

I watched a little of it the other night, and I saw you and smiled. ;)

Ahh...to be young again.
