1. Massive pitching choice fail.
Greg Maddux
Walter Johnson
Lefty Grove
Roger Clemens
Sandy Koufax
Cy Young

That's just off the top of my head.

Also missing, Yastrzemski over Molitor for the DH. Remove both AL shortstops and insert both A-Rod and Jeter (God, I hated typing that). I'd make so many changes to that, it's not funny.

2. Lifetime batting average of .317, 240 home runs, 3,000 hits.

Much as I like Willie Stargell (who was in center field BTW), Clemente plays in MY right field.

--------------------------
On edit: Looking over those rosters, it looks like a feeble attempt at an all-time list by someone who doesn't know much about baseball and watched "I Love the 80s" way too much.

Very weak.

9. I'll bet MLB would not let them put Pete Rose on the list.
Or they'd lose the license, which would then be picked up by EA Sports. And we don't want that to happen.

4. Where to begin?
Pedro Martinez, Randy Johnson, and Sandy Koufax are more deserving than Hunter and Sutcliffe.

Pete Rose should be on the NL roster someplace. Rod Carew gets on the AL roster before Kaline.

Cal Ripken gets the nod over Rizutto.

8. Robin Yount as the starting AL CF? Holy shit.
I'm sorry, there's so many holes in this that I can't cover it tonight. I'll try to get to it tomorrow, but no promises.

12. The guy moved to CF after how many years at SS?
Hey, no disrespect, the guy's an HOFer, but the idea that he should be the starting CF on a team of all-time AL greats is like saying that...Christ, I don't even have an analogy that bad.

13. I can only assume this is a licensing issue
There's no other logical explanation for the absence of Mays, Aaron, Mantle, DiMaggio. I might have included Ruth & Gehrig as well. Walter Johnson, Cy Young, Addie Joss, Juan Marichal, Clemente, Cal Ripken -- the list goes on.
