Which MLB ballpark has the best food?
I gotta go with Bob Costas and my sense of local Pride and say Miller Park.

A nice Bratwirst with kraut and Specail Stadium Sauce. Heaven....

I will be having one of these next month whe I go to see the Crew kill the Dodgers.

1. Safeco Field in Seattle
They have a real wood-fired open pit barbecue. When you sit in left field, the smoke wafting over will make you swoon. Plus, they have a Kidd Valley burger stand, whose burgers aren't even the main attraction - it's their milkshakes.

All that, and the best regional microbrews in the country.

Although I admit I would love to try a brat in its hometown.

4. Safeco
By naming Safeco Field the most vegetarian-friendly American League park, PETA is happy to provide a bright spot in an otherwise dismal year for the Mariners. Safeco offers veggie burgers, veggie dogs, baked potatoes, veggie sushi, fruit salad, pasta with marinara sauce, PB&J, edamame, veggie burritos, and veggie taco salad.

Too many stadiums go about their concessions the wrong way. Seattle has it right. It treats the stadium almost like the city's famed Pike Place Market, leasing space to independent operators who offer good, distinctive food. And what a variety. You've got all the classic stand-bys; but you've also got clam chowder, salmon sandwiches, sushi, chocolate-covered strawberries, garlic fries, wok-fried noodles, southern barbeque and much, much more. If Mo Vaughn knew about this, he would have insisted on a trade to the Mariners. 5+++

2. I've heard good things about AT&T
not that I've been or anything, but their Gilroy garlic fries are famous region-wide.

3. AT & T has good stuff
but for basic ballpark fare the Coliseum is better and there are even some good local vendors like the BBQ people.

5. Camden Yards
Has pretty good food . Boog's Bar-B-Que is well known and very well liked. Plus if you like Maryland Crab Cakes, I hear those are good.

8. I was going to post Camden Yards

I did a quick count and have been to at least 9 ballparks, might have forgotten one, and Camden Yards is the best. Most parks "bar b que' means a greasy sandwich, but they have guys cooking racks of pork beyond the outfield fence. Closest park to me is Atlanta, where then team owner Ted Turner even complained about the cost.

6. Not Wrigley. Ugh.
White Sox Park is better, I love the grilled dogs. Plus the dessert cart in the skyboxes is always nice.

But, my bride swears by Dodger Stadium - Dodger Dogs and whatnot. I think they have ok tacos too.

The Crab Cakes at Camden Yards stink, more like Mrs. Paul's Crab Flavored mush......Boog's BBQ is pretty good though

12. Manchester is supposed to have the most vegetarian-friendly minor lg. menu
No less an authority than PETA said so. Funny, given our love of corned beef, poutine, and baked lamb!

I've only been to Dodger Stadium and The Big A, but Dodger Stadium has the better food of those two.

14. I did try a DODGER DOG ONCE... wasn't too bad...
Edited on Tue Jul-13-10 04:39 PM by AsahinaKimi

I have been in quite a few stadiums.. AT&T Park, the old Candle stick, Oakland County Coliseum, Busch Stadium, Yankee Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Angels Stadium, The Sky Dome, Fenway Park, ...

All of them had pretty good food. Have to agree with the Garlic Fries though, they were great. Dodger Stadium had Krispy Kremes!

I am not sure which was the best, but they all were good! I am now craving a ball park frank!
