This will be my first funeral to hold.

I know her mother so this isn't a stranger.

Hope I do this well.

I rather do weddings and blessings.

The family want this to be a happy event.

That will make it easier.

2. Thank you Heidi.
My friend's mother is so cool, she was never afraid to do anything.

She is getting ready to go, just waiting for some family members to get here.

I visited with her today, she told me what she wanted at her funeral.

I may or may not see her again alive.

3. Sounds like your friend's mom
is prepared for a peaceful passage and is giving her energy to making her passage easier for everyone she loves. THAT is a cool person. :)

4. She has the whole thing planned.
There is a video to show and music to play.

She fought this cancer for a long time, fought the good fight.

She really waiting for her Grandson who is in Iraq, and her sister who lives overseas.

She is a WWII vet, joined the Navy.

I will miss her.
