Senior Year here at UCONN- will we get a Final Four?
I am so psyched! About 3 hours left before UCONN plays to go to the Final Four! I am born and raised in the nutmeg state and I have rooted for this team since I was a wee little grasshopper (any one remember Burell cross court to George with 1 second left to beat Clemson? I was 8) and now attend this fine university. I am a proud husky and just felt the need to boast. Alabama is gonna be tough but we should be able to win it. In a couple of hours I shall begin my pre-game ummm..... festivities (I know its early but it's my senior year  )So enjoy the game and don't forget to sing!

UConn Husky,
symbol of might to the foe.
Fight, fight Connecticut, it's victr'y, Let's go
Connecticut U Conn Husky,
victr'y again for the White and Blue
So go, go, go Connecticut,
Connecticut U. Fight!
C-O-N-N-E-C-T-I C-U-T. Connecticut,
Connecticut Husky, Connecticut Husky,
Connecticut C-O-N-N-U. Fight! (repeat)

Ok so it's a dumb song but who cares? I am in a corny school spirited mood :-)

2. Yeah me too
Even though I wasn't entirely sure they were up to it before the tourney began. I am such a homer but I figured why not go for it? They have really stepped it up for the tourney though. Hope we can win you some cash so that a left person really can finish first.

3. I couldn't be more content with my championship game pics
KU 78, UConn 75

I'm so glad I went with my heart and picked KU. UConn was a head pick. My entire final 4 is still intact.

6. Wow great pick.
Definitely a possibility. I'll admit, I had Kentucky going to the final four, guess I have payed the price for my lack of creativity.

4. A buddy of mine is a grad student at UCONN
Odds are you've never heard of him, but his name is Jim Edwards. He's a graduate student and he teaches classes in distance learning education. We served together during the first Gulf war, aboard USS Blue Ridge. Jim was a fellow Navy journalist.

7. Never heard of him
But thank you both for your service to our country. Oddly enough, I was at an Air Force ROTC party last night (my girlfriend was in AIR ROTC before she was diagnosed with a real bad strain of asthma, they still let her take the Air Force history courses cause she is interested, they call her "special student) they didn't have a lot of nice things to say about the Navy, but all in good fun. I salute you.

5. I think so
I hope Alabama pulls the upset, but I don't see it happening. Alabama was totally dominated by the Syracuse big men. There's no way I can see the Tide stopping Okafor.

I might regret this later, but I predict UConn wins by 10 + points.
