1. Fry the egg in the butter. Warm the beans and eat them with the egg. Pineapple for dessert.
Save the canned spaghetti for breakfast.

3. To the rescue. (Underpants Wife)
From Underpants wife:

Boil Egg. If you have vinegar mix just a couple of drop with heaping teaspoon of mayo and mix a little of time with the boiled egg yolk until creamy. tiny bit of salt. You will have a deviled egg.

no vinegar, then boil egg. break with fork and add mayo little at a time. Salt and pepper to taste - Egg salad.

You can always scramble your egg. You do have butter. add a dash of water which will help it fluff up.

Spaghetti letters - I am assuming just the pasta not the tomato sauce and pasta. If that is the case, boil pasta. Salt cool mix in mayo, beans and some of your pineapple. Nice pasta salad.

If it is with tomato sauce, then eat alone and you can eat beans alone.

Dessert: Melt butter and dip the pineapple in it. Sprinkle with sugar or brown sugar if you have it and then grill till brown grill marks. Can do in oven to under broiler. Just watch and don't burn. Sugar and butter will caramelized. very yummy.

7. Pineapple thing sounds tasty, I'm going to do that.
And the pasta salad thing.

And the devilled egg thing. I didn't even know what a devilled egg was.

Thx!

12. Deviled Eggs.
I assume you use pickles for your deviled eggs? If so, technically that is vinegar. It is just a tiny bit that gives the mixture some zing. Oh yeah. Mayo is made with vinegar too.

18. sometimes . . .
sometimes not.

Just egg and mayo and a bit of mustard powder. and sometimes celery. some people like onion. oh - and in prevegetarian days - crumbled bacon. And don't forget the paprika on top.

4. No bread or breadlike foods at all?
or a potato?

Eggs and toast and beans is one of my favorite any time of the day meals...with eggs, home fries or hash browns and beans being a close second. I always keep a can of those canned-potatoes on hand for this emergency...given a can of taters, you can always throw together a meal with the loose contents of the cupboard.

6. No!
I should have got some when I went out earlier, but it's Saturday night and I'm in the middle of a city of unpredictable Scottish drunks. Also I'm lazy.

It is a good idea though, for me to buy a nuclear bunker style set of canned stuff.

5. Hmmm
Perhaps boil the egg, chop it up and add it to the heated beans with some nice spices like sage or parsley or both and pepper.

Take the butter and saute the pineapple, maybe add sugar and cinnamon.

8. what kind of beans?
If they're "white" - navy, cannelini, great northern . . .

You can boil the letters (if they're jsut pasta and no sauce)

boil the egg

heat up the beans.

butter the pasta after draining, top with beans and crumbled up boiled egg.

Eat pineapple for dessert!

Ditch the mayo. I don't like mayo much. :P

14. but but it's 01.18 am
and the only open place is the 24 hour shop that is bereft of fresh food at this hour and also full of drunken, noisy, occasionally violent people. (Have seen a couple of fights in this shop, and more than a couple of arguments)
