Red Gladiolas

Just up the road someone is selling gladiolas . I think the workers in the fields go and glean after the harvest for extra money .

They are two bunches for five dollars .

I bought two and gave one to my daughter in law.

What have you done that is really nice for yourself lately ?

I haven't really done anything lately for myself.

3. I love fresh flowers

and all of those glads for five bucks is just to good to pass up . If I buy them regularly I feel good about helping out a migrant worker .Sometimes I will leave a little extra in the box . There is no one there to accept the money so it is entirely on the honor system.

We have farmer's vegetable stands like that around here too--totally on the honor system.

red geraniums. Read on du they keep mosquitos away from your door.
